AYALA SA provides a warranty for its products:

  • 12 months – for accessories from the 48H offer
  • 1 month – for outlet products

AYALA SA does not provide a warranty for goods from exhibition sale.

Warranty coverage

The warranty specified in point 1, paragraphs a) and b) covers technological defects revealed during use, in particular:

  • Flaking of chrome surfaces and cracks in metal parts not caused by the user
  • Delamination and deformation of furniture boards, not caused by flooding or excessive moisture
  • Malfunction of hinges, guides, etc. not resulting from excessive force or overload
  • Malfunction of the movable footrest and massage systems, not resulting from flooding of the system components or mechanical damage
  • Rips or cracks in upholstery materials resulting from stress or other material defects, not resulting from mechanical damage

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover defects resulting from improper use of furniture or occurring as a result of negative external factors, including:

  • No hydraulic pump lock during use - the brake should be applied by pulling the pump lever up after setting the appropriate height and position of the seat; failure to use the brake results in faster operation and is grounds for voiding the warranty
  • Mechanical damage (impacts, abrasions, cuts, etc.)
  • Prolonged contact with water, flooding
  • Improper maintenance (e.g. use of strong chemicals for purposes other than intended)
  • Lack of maintenance (permanent dirt)
  • Long-term contact with aggressive hairdressing chemicals (permanent stains)
  • Discoloration on upholstery, furniture boards or painted surfaces caused by hairdressing chemicals or dirt from jeans
  • Discoloration caused by long-term exposure to sunlight, cigarette smoke
  • Direct contact with fire or contact with a very hot object
  • Excessive overload (standing/sitting on shelves, worktops, armrests, footrests, etc.)
  • Inappropriate room temperature (below +15 °C, above +30 °C)
  • Other uses of furniture other than their intended use
  • Damage and defects resulting from improper storage of furniture
  • Damage caused during transportation or transfer of furniture by the Buyer
  • Damage caused by random events and circumstances beyond the manufacturer's control
  • Damage caused by furniture assembly not in accordance with the instructions
  • Damage due to improper water and drainage connection in a hairdressing washroom
  • Damage resulting from alterations performed by the Buyer
  • Damage caused by natural wear and tear
  • Complaints regarding the natural characteristics of wood (grain, discoloration) will not be accepted.

Service Services

Service does not cover simple tasks that the user can perform themselves, e.g. replacing a light bulb, adjusting hinges, tightening a loose screw, removing dirt, etc.

Claims

Claims do not cover properties characteristic of the materials used, e.g. wood grain, matt aluminium, slight colour discrepancies in relation to paint and fabric samples.

Defects that are irrelevant to the use of the furniture and completely invisible after assembly cannot be the basis for warranty claims.

If only a part of the furniture is defective and its repair or replacement would not impair its functional properties, the warranty entitlements apply only to the defective part.

Warranty rights do not include the Buyer's right to make further claims for damages.

AYALA SA is obliged to consider the complaint within 14 days from the date of its written submission. The consideration will take place in a time and manner agreed by both parties.

Furniture Use Terms

Take care of your furniture and it will serve you for a long time – follow our advice, in particular:

  • Check the condition of the furniture upon delivery.
  • Use furniture for its intended purpose.
  • To increase the durability of the hydraulic pump, be sure to engage the brake lever after adjusting the seat to the proper height.

Each hydraulic pump has three operating modes:

  1. Raise the seat by pressing the pedal (do not press the pedal all the way down, as this will cause the seat to drop).
  2. Lower the seat by pressing and holding the pedal down.
  3. Brake – lifting the lever up locks the seat; the brake is released by pressing the lever.
  • Adjustable backrests – release the actuator lock using the lever, do not use excessive force.
  • Adjustable headrest – release the mechanism lock with the button, avoid excessive force.
  • Footrests are for supporting your legs; do not stand or sit on them.
  • Avoid prolonged contact with moisture.
  • Wipe dry with a soft cloth or tissue paper.
  • Make sure the room is ventilated.
  • Avoid contact with sharp objects.
  • Do not place hot items (hair straighteners, dryers) on furniture.
  • Avoid permanent stains.
  • Cleaning and maintenance – mild agents only.
